Question by Lemia: What is Drupal? Is it more similar to Visual Studio or WordPress and Dreamweaver?
Because if it’s more like WordPress and Dreamweaver than I don’t want to use it.
I’m programming with CakePHP right now. I used to program with C#.NET, so I like Visual Studio, but I hate Dreamweaver. What is Drupal more like?
Answer by Colanth
Simple answer – it’s sorta-kinda like WordPress, but CakePHP is also good. And you already know it. If you want something different, but still “write PHP code” style, try CodeIgnighter http://codeigniter.com/
(Dreamweaver is just a text editor with fancy decoration, that’s sold to people who don’t know any better, for an exorbitant price.)

Question by Futuristic Handgun: Are there ways to use blogging as a means of meeting girls with similar ideals to date?
I have a Tumblr account. I wouldn’t be opposed to signing up for another service, however, if there was one tailored to connecting people romantically via a blogging-type networking service. I’m thinking Facebook as far as having pictures and statuses and things, but Tumblr or Twitter where you can just randomly post things that express your personality. Any ideas? Thanks

Facebook is probably your best bet because of the reasons you state and also it is free. You can try Twitter and when a woman “follows” you you can follow her back but the ability to make contact is limited. There are hundreds of PAY sites the price of which varies depending on what you are looking for. r

Question by Band: Is there anyway to allow others to place videos on my WordPress blog, similar to You Tube?
I want to make my WordPress blog have the function that allows others to put videos on the page whenever they want, even if they do not have my log in information. Is there anyway to do this? It would be similar to the way that people put videos on Youtube and make their own account.
Answer by nadzcabral
I’m afraid that there’s no direct way you can do this on a WordPress blog. The best alternative is to have a YouTube niche script like this: http://www.advancescripts.com/detailed/15245.html running on a separate directory and linking it from WordPress.
