Does Yahoo! have a blogging service other than Yahoo! 360?

Question by Ratchet: Does Yahoo! have a blogging service other than Yahoo! 360?
I don’t want to use Yahoo! 360. Does Yahoo! just have a blogging service independent from Yahoo! 360?

Yahoo has two blogging services.

1) One is the 360 you mentioned.
From there the blogging components will be migrated to the the new Yahoo! Profile Card soon ——->http://profile.yahoo.com .
I suggest you give this a try.

2) There is one other Yahoo blogging service it is called Yahoo! Shine, but it is geared toward women.
See http://shine.yahoo.com/page/about/ for details.

Clicking any of the links on that page (to an article or section) will lead you to an area where you can compose a blog.

Hope I helped.

Does anyone know a free blogging service with Facebook logins?

Question by Dennis: Does anyone know a free blogging service with Facebook logins?
I’m trying to make a blog for high-schoolers. Most blogging services I know require a Google account. That is fine, but since every 16-17-year old these days has a Facebook account I thought it would be nice to find a blogging service that supports a Facebook login — it would easier for them.

So any suggestions?

Is there a blogging service that allows categorized blogging on separate pages?

Question by aimango: Is there a blogging service that allows categorized blogging on separate pages?
It seems that most blog sites have the blog on 1 page, and will allow you to categorize each post, but I’m looking for a blogging service where I can have separate pages and each page I can add dated blog entries.

WordPress with certain Plugins can do Different Categories per Page, Different Tags per Page, Different Author per Page… the options are endless.

You may get a free WordPress account at a free host, or wordpress.com but are often limited to what kind of plugins you may have. Go to wordpress.org to download WordPress and install it on your own host, you can also download plugins from their site.

When it comes to the Plugins, try searching for “Advanced Categories” to see plugins for grouping/separating/hiding categories from certain pages. There are many different plugins to choose from.

I believe Drupal may also be able to do this, but it is generally more of CMS than a Blog, but you can configure it to do anything really.
