WordPress headers can be changed on the left side of the admin panel under Appearance, Header.

If this is not found you may need to find a plug-in for easy WP changing of headers or manually edit the applicable PHP files and / or CSS styles.

How do I get my website’s (wordpress) header to change, so that each author has their own header?

Question by Chris: How do I get my website’s (wordpress) header to change, so that each author has their own header?
On a normal, paid-for domain using wordpress, how do I get the header image to change based on the individual author? Right now I’m using Suffusion, but I’d consider going with a different theme.
Oh yeah, and I don’t know jack about computers.

Basically you’d have to modify your theme templates.

Each page and part of your site is divided into individual files, and each theme, has their own variety of files to provide the different type of pages or page layouts.

So it is not too hard to make the logo change based on which author it is for.

But if your computer illiterate, your either going to have to learn, or pay someone to make the change for you….

If you want this change to happen right away, then you’d have to pay.

If you want to learn, and then make your own changes in the future, I recommend you start learning.

Read a book, create a dummy wordpress site, and practice on that. So it doesn’t affect your main site.

Now there may be limitations if you can make this change or not.

If you have a site that is on wordpress.com which hosts sites for free for people, but then you aren’t as free to make as many changes or use as many themes or plugin’s as you like.

Or you have a wordpress site hosted somewhere else, which means, you have to either pay or learn. But you are less restricted in what changes you can make.

This isn’t really a hard change to make.

You really would be better off in the end learning it yourself, would cost you less in the end.

How do I center a WordPress Reddle theme header image?

Question by K: How do I center a WordPress Reddle theme header image?
From what it looks like, it costs money to gain access to editing the coding of a WordPress theme. I can’t figure out at all if there’s a free way to gain access to the coding, but I really would like to know how to center the header image I’m using. Thanks!
