How do I switch from blogger template to wordpress template?

I have my own .com website hosted by godaddy. I am using a blogger template but want to switch to a wordpress one. Can anyone help me withhow to do it without losing all the info on my site already?

I believe you can export your posts to a CSV file in the blogger dashboard, then switch over to wordpress, install the wordpress importer plugin, activate it, and import your CSV file. That should do it.

    I am assuming you want to self-host your Word Press blog.

    Search http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ “importer blogger” and find a suitable importer. Make sure you read the instructions. If I recall correctly with Blogger your domain is just a redirect from your Blogger account (the posts don’t actually reside on your hosting account) so you should be able to find your Blog’s Blogger URL without the redirect to your domain. Make sure you have that before you disable the redirect.
